Privacy

A short, honest account of what this site collects — because it's very little.

No ads, no trackers

This site runs no advertising, no analytics trackers, and no third-party marketing pixels. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com); that request is subject to Google's own privacy policy. Cloudflare, the hosting provider, may set minimal operational cookies for security purposes such as bot mitigation — see Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Article stats (reads, likes, time on page)

Each article tracks an aggregate read count, like count, and average time-on-page. These are stored per article — not per visitor — and contain no personal information. Your browser locally remembers (via localStorage/sessionStorage) whether you've liked or already counted as a read for a given article, purely so the count isn't inflated on repeat visits; this stays on your device and is never sent anywhere as identifying data.

Comments

If you post a comment, the name and text you enter are stored and shown publicly on that article — don't include anything you don't want visible to everyone. Comments publish immediately; there's no verification of the name you provide.

To limit spam, your IP address is hashed (SHA-256) server-side and used only to enforce a brief cooldown between posts. That hash is never stored alongside your comment, is not linked to any other data, and automatically expires shortly after — it exists purely to slow down scripted abuse.
